Ms. Woods was raised in Duluth, Georgia, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Tennessee in 2002. She relocated to Raleigh in 2003 and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2008, following which she joined Millberg Gordon Stewart.
While in law school Ms. Woods logged over one hundred hours of Pro Bono work, was president of Women in Law, and was a notes editor for the North Carolina Journal of Law and Technology. Ms. Woods handles transportation litigation cases, such as railroad, automobile and trucking incidents, as well as civil defense litigation and general tort defense.
In her spare time, Ms. Woods enjoys running, snowboarding, cooking, and traveling. She is an avid Tennessee football fan and UNC basketball fan.
