National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel
A non-profit organization comprised of railroad defense trial attorneys from across the United States and Canada. Membership is limited to lawyers who handle litigation and/or related matters for railroads or other legal matters directly affecting railroads.

Defense Research Institute
An international organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation. It provides educational and informational resources to members and offers many opportunities for liaison among defense trial lawyers, corporate america, and state and local defense organizations.

Railway Association of North Carolina
The Railway Association of North Carolina consists of 23 member railroads operating in the State of North Carolina. This number includes 19 short lines and 2 Class I railroads. They also have 63 associate members who are their vendors and suppliers. The Railway Association of North Carolina is a forum for its members to come together and share events and information about the rail industry in North Carolina.

Transportation Research Board
An organization that is one of six major divisions of the National Research Council; a private, nonprofit institution that is the principal operating agency of the National Academies in providing services to the government, the public, and the scientific and engineering communities.

North Carolina Trucking Association
An organization that represents the unified trucking industry of North Carolina and is committed to safety on North Carolina's highways.
